    On page 3, after line 28, insert the following:

    "NEW SECTION. Sec. 2.  A new section is added to chapter 46.08 RCW to read as follows:

    Each vehicle used by a sheriff’s office, police department, and the Washington state patrol must be equipped with a light bar mounted to the top of the vehicle if:

(1) The vehicle is marked as required by RCW 46.08.065; and

(2) The vehicle is being used for enforcement of traffic infractions, as defined in RCW 46.63.020."

    Correct the title.

EFFECT:  Requires police vehicles to be mounted with a light bar on the top of the vehicles if the vehicles are marked and are being used for traffic infraction enforcement.
