    On page 5, beginning on line 8 of the striking amendment, after "or" strike all material through "life" on line 9 and insert "with malice"

EFFECT:  Replaces amendatory language stating that killing an animal "while manifesting an extreme indifference to life" qualifies as animal cruelty in the first degree with language stating that killing an animal "with malice" qualifies.
