    On page 40, line 35, increase the General Fund--State (FY 2016) appropriation by $1,941,000. 

    On page 40, line 36, increase the General Fund--State (FY 2017) appropriation by $2,526,000.

    On page 40, line 37, decrease the General Fund--Federal appropriation by $779,000.

    Adjust the total appropriations accordingly.

EFFECT: Funding is provided at Children's Administration for an additional 21.9 FTE over the 30 FTE that were provided for a total of 51.9 FTE for compliance with 2011 Braam v. State of Washington Revised Settlement and Exit Agreement. 

Additional staff will allow the department to meet the following goals: completion of monthly health and safety visits; ensure visitations between siblings in different out-of-home care placements; provide new caregivers with critical child information within 24-72 hours; and reduce repeat runaways from foster care.

FISCAL EFFECT:  $4,467,000 GF-S, $175,000 Other
