Brief Description: Concerning additive transportation funding and appropriations.

Background: The operating and capital expenses of state transportation agencies and programs are funded on a biennial basis by an omnibus transportation budget adopted by the Legislature in odd-numbered years. Additionally, supplemental budgets may be adopted during the biennium, making various modifications to agency appropriations.
Summary: Appropriations are provided for certain state transportation agencies and programs for the 2015-17 fiscal biennium based on additional revenues provided in Senate bills 5987 and 5989.

Partial Veto Summary: Removes the requirement that WSDOT take certain actions when naturally occurring beaver dams and the water contained behind the dams pose an imminent threat to Washington state highway infrastructure, personal property, and individual safety in the event of dam failure.
