Provides that no license under the provisions of chapter 19.28 RCW (electricians and electrical installations) shall be required from a person, firm, partnership, corporation, or other entity because of work in connection with the installation, reconfiguration, or maintenance of modular electrical systems that are UL-listed for use in commercial furniture.

Exempts the following from electrician certification requirements and inspection requirements: The installation, reconfiguration, and maintenance of commercial furniture modular electrical systems.
