Requires statewide elected officials and candidates for statewide elected office to, by July 31st of each year, certify in a written statement that either: (1) He or she has no actual knowledge of criminal charges pending against him or her or of an ongoing criminal investigation in which he or she is a suspect or person of interest conducted by a federal, state, or local law enforcement organization; or

(2) He or she has actual knowledge that criminal charges have been filed against him or her or that he or she is a suspect or person of interest in an ongoing criminal investigation conducted by a federal, state, or local law enforcement agency.
