Requires the joint legislative audit and review committee to: (1) Conduct an analysis of the costs and impacts associated with maternity and paternity leave for K-12 certificated classroom teachers; and

(2) With assistance from the state institute for public policy, also analyze the impact of state-funded maternity and paternity leave on increasing recruitment and retention of teachers.
