     On page 2, line 24, after "subsection" strike "(((2))) (3)" and insert (2)

    On page 2, line 29, after "this" strike "((section)) subsection" and insert "section"

    On page 3, beginning on line 31, strike all of subsection (2)

    Renumber the remaining subsections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

    On page 4, line 4, after "The" strike "surcharges imposed in this section ((does)) do" and insert "surcharge imposed in this section does"

EFFECT:

     Eliminates the councilmanic authority of counties and cities to impose an additional surcharge of up to $50.
