    On page 3, after line 23, insert the following:

    "(e) Individuals who are convicted in adult court of a sex offense as defined by RCW 9.94A.030 that is committed before the individual turns age eighteen shall be transferred to a department of corrections facility when the individual turns age twenty-one if there is time remaining on the individual's term of confinement."

EFFECT:   Requires that individuals convicted in adult court of sex offenses that are committed before the individual turns 18 must be transferred to a Department of Corrections facility when the individual turns age 21 if there is time remaining on the individual's term of confinement.
