(b) The state liquor and cannabis board may not issue a license for any premises within Indian country, as defined in RCW 82.24.010, including any federal fee patent lands within the exterior boundaries of a reservation, unless incorporated into an agreement with a federally recognized tribe, pursuant to RCW 43.06.490."
EFFECT: (1) Establishes that the state liquor and cannabis board must notify the tribal government of an application for a new or renewed marijuana license if the application is for a license within Indian country, without regard to whether the Indian country is under the jurisdiction of a federally recognized Indian tribe.
(2) Prohibits the state liquor and cannabis board from issuing a marijuana license for any premises within Indian country, including any federal fee patent lands within the exterior boundaries of a reservation, unless incorporated into an agreement with a federally recognized tribe.
