    On page 1, line 7, after "(1)" insert "(a)"

    On page 1, after line 14, insert the following:

    "(b) "Special prosecuting attorney" means: (i) an attorney employed or contracted by the county legislative authority to perform any duty which the county prosecuting attorney is authorized or required by law to perform; (ii) an attorney who litigates on behalf of the county; or (iii) an attorney who files an amicus brief on any case in which the government agency is party to."

    On page 3, line 8, after "(2)" insert ""Special deputy prosecuting attorney" means: (i) an attorney appointed by the prosecuting attorney upon a contract or fee basis to perform any duty which the county prosecuting attorney is authorized or required by law to perform; (ii) an attorney who litigates on behalf of the county; or (iii) an attorney who files an amicus brief on any case in which the government agency is party to.
