     On page 3, line 6, after "student" insert "under the age of fifteen"

    On page 3, line 8, after "(b)" strike "Publicly identify or stigmatize" and insert "Stigmatize"

    On page 3, line 9, after "likely" strike "publicly identify or"

    On page 3, line 29, after "served to" strike "the student" and insert "a student under the age of fifteen"

EFFECT:  (1) Prohibits school personnel, district personnel, and school volunteers from taking any action directed at a student under the age of 15 to collect unpaid school meal fees.

    (2) Removes a provision prohibiting school personnel, district personnel, and school volunteers from publicly identifying a student who cannot pay for a meal or for meals previously served to the student. 

    (3) Specifies that communications from a school or district about amounts owed for meals previously served to a student under the age of 15 may only be directed to the student's parent or guardian.
