    On page 25, after line 3, insert the following:

    "NEW SECTION. Sec. 27. A new section is added to chapter 29A.60 RCW to read as follows:

A new section is added to chapter 87.03 RCW to read as follows:

    A county auditor's requirement to conduct irrigation district elections under this act may not interfere with his or her duties to conduct other elections under title 29A.

NEW SECTION. Sec. 28. A new section is added to chapter 29A.04 RCW to read as follows:

    A county auditor's requirement to conduct irrigation district elections under this act may not interfere with his or her duties to conduct other elections under title 29A."

    Renumber the remaining section consecutively and correct internal references accordingly. Correct the title.

EFFECT:   Specifies that a county auditor's duties to conduct irrigation district elections cannot interfere with his or her duty to conduct other elections.
