    On page 1, line 13 of the striking amendment, after "resources" insert "and that timber manufacturing often produces fuels for biomass as a byproduct of production"

    On page 1, beginning on line 19 of the striking amendment, after "products" strike all material through "emissions" on line 20

    On page 31, beginning on line 1 of the striking amendment, strike all of section 14

    Renumber the remaining sections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

    On page 35, beginning on line 4 of the striking amendment, strike all of section 16

    Renumber the remaining sections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

    On page 38, beginning on line 6 of the striking amendment, strike all of sections 18 through 20

    Renumber the remaining sections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.  

EFFECT:   Strikes the sales and use tax exemption provided for machinery and equipment used directly in generating electricity using certain renewable and alternative energy resources. Strikes the public utility tax credit provided for certain clean energy investment expenditures. Amends the legislative intent section.
