    On page 3, at the beginning of line 36 of the striking amendment, strike all material through "2044." on page 4, line 11

EFFECT:   Removes the provision establishing that it is the intent of the Legislature for electric utilities and market customers to meet certain fossil fuel reduction targets for the years 2030, 2035, and 2040, if the Legislature does not adopt alternative interim fossil fuel reduction targets by December 31, 2020.
