On page 2, line 7 of the amendment, after "law" insert ", unless these separation requirements would result in a youth being detained in solitary confinement"
EFFECT: Provides an exception to the requirement that juveniles committed to detention as a contempt sanction pursuant to an At-Risk Youth, Child in Need of Services, child welfare, or truancy court proceeding must be separated from juveniles detained pursuant to a criminal law violation if that separation would result in solitary confinement.
