    On page 2, after line 18, insert the following:

    "(b) "Conversion therapy" does not include practices by a licensed health care provider who is practicing in accordance with the tenets of a religious affiliation and uses speech alone."

EFFECT:   Excludes from the definition of "conversion therapy" practices by a licensed health care provider who is practicing in accordance with the tenets of a religious affiliation and uses only speech.
