    On page 5, after line 9, insert the following:

    "NEW SECTION. Sec. 6.  A new section is added to chapter 4.20 RCW to read as follows:

    There is no double recovery created or allowed for the same damages to a person in actions brought under the provisions of this chapter or RCW 4.24.010."

    Renumber the remaining section consecutively and correct the title.

EFFECT:   Provides that there is no double recovery created or allowed for the same damages to a person under the wrongful death and survival actions.
