Brief Description: Changing the annual reporting date for the transitional bilingual instruction program.

Background: Since 1969, the Superintendent of Public Instruction (SPI) has been directed to annual review and report to the Legislature on the Transitional Bilingual Instruction Program (TBIP).
Summary: The SPI must annually review and report to the Legislature on the TBIP on or before February 1st instead of January 1st.
