AN ACT Relating to information on civil traffic infractions; and adding a new section to chapter 2.56 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION.  Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 2.56 RCW to read as follows:

The administrative office of the courts shall remove any identifying information about individual cases filed in courts in this state that involve civil traffic infractions where it has been determined that the infraction was not committed and the notice has been dismissed, as described in chapter 46.63 RCW, from any publicly accessible internet search engines, databases, or online web sites maintained by the administrative office of the courts.
