EFFECT:   Reduces the pension plan-equivalent funds calculation applied to employees of a contractor performing services on a pupil transportation services contract. The percentage of estimated salaries added is reduced from a percentage equal to the total employer and employee contribution rate to the School Employees' Retirement System, currently expected to be 21.26 percent of pay in the 2019-21 fiscal biennium, to a percentage equal to the Plans 2 and 3 normal cost employer contribution rate of the School Employees' Retirement System, currently expected to be 8.25 percent of pay in the 2019-21 fiscal biennium.
