On page 3, line 6 of the striking amendment, after "agreement" insert "to prospectively limit the ability to bring a qui tam action. This subsection does not apply to any retrospective release of claims"

EFFECT: Specifies that a private agreement may not limit the future ability to bring a qui tam action, but may be used to release past claims.
