On page 11, after line 7, insert the following:

"(7) This section does not apply to rental property that is located within a city, town, or county that has enacted an ordinance that limits the ability of a property owner to commence or complete an unlawful detainer action during specific months or times of the year."

EFFECT: Provides that the cause requirements and provisions with respect to occupants, bad faith, and contents of written notices do not apply to rental property that is located within a city, town, or county that has enacted an ordinance that limits the ability of a property owner to commence or complete an unlawful detainer action during specific months or times of the year.
