Renumber the remaining sections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.
| EFFECT: Changes the earnings threshold for an enforceable noncompetition covenant with an employee from $100,000 to the most recent private sector wage published by the Employment Security Department for the county in which the parties entered into the covenant.
Changes the earnings threshold for an enforceable noncompetition covenant with an independent contractor to 2.5 times the amount specified for an employee.
Strikes adjustments for inflation.
