On page 6, after line 12, insert the following:
"(5) Benefits for an eligible individual for inaccessibility of care for a child or vulnerable adult under subsection (2)(b)(ii) of this section are subject to the availability of amounts appropriated from the family and medical leave insurance account for this specific purpose. Benefits are not available under these subsections from payments from the unemployment trust fund account."
On page 11, after line 12, insert the following:
"(5) Benefits for an eligible individual for inaccessibility of care for a child or vulnerable adult under subsection (2)(b)(ii) of this section are subject to the availability of amounts appropriated from the family and medical leave insurance account for this specific purpose. Benefits are not available under these subsections from payments from the unemployment trust fund account."
On page 12, line 34, after "(3)," insert "or for inaccessibility of care for a child or vulnerable adult under RCW 50.20.050(2)(b)(ii),"
On page 13, after line 23, insert the following:
"(k) Benefits paid to an eligible individual for inaccessibility of care for a child or vulnerable adult under RCW 50.20.050(2)(b)(ii) may not be paid from the unemployment trust fund account, and may only be paid from the family and medical leave insurance account."
EFFECT: Provides that the good cause quit provision related to inaccessibility of care added by the bill may not be funded from the unemployment trust fund account, is not charged to employer experience rating accounts, and is only available subject to specific funding provided from the family and medical leave insurance account.
