On page 3, line 10, after "enrollment" insert ", the school district meets the assessment score criteria in subsection (iv),"

On page 3, line 16, after "enrollment" insert ", the school district meets the assessment score criteria in subsection (iv),"

On page 3, after line 18, insert the following:

"(iv) A school district meets the assessment score criteria if either of the following are true:

(A) The percentage of the school district's students that met standard on the state math assessment in the 2021-22 school year did not decline by more percentage points from the 2018-19 school year than the statewide percentage of students meeting standard over the same period declined; or

(B) The percentage of the school district's students that met standard on the state English language arts assessment in the 2021-22 school year did not decline by more percentage points from the 2018-19 school year than the statewide percentage of students meeting standard over the same period declined."

On page 5, line 36, after "enrollment" insert "and the school district meets the assessment score criteria in subsection (iii)"

On page 5, line 40, after "enrollment" insert "and the school district meets the assessment score criteria in subsection (iii)"

On page 5, after line 40, insert the following:

"(iii) A school district meets the assessment score criteria if either of the following are true:

(A) The percentage of the school district's students that met standard on the state math assessment in the 2021-22 school year did not decline by more percentage points from the 2018-19 school year than the statewide percentage of students meeting standard over the same period declined; or

EFFECT:   Provides that, in order to receive local effort assistance stabilization and enrichment levy stabilization, a school district may not have a percentage point decline in the percentage of students meeting standard on both the state math and English language arts assessments greater than the statewide decline in the percentage of students meeting standard.
