On page 1, beginning on line 31 of the striking amendment, after "that" strike all material through "agency" on line 32 and insert "is clearly beyond that which is objectively reasonable under the circumstances"
| EFFECT: Defines "excessive force" as force that is clearly beyond that which is objectively reasonable under the circumstances (rather than force that exceeds the force permitted by law or policy of the witnessing officer's agency, as provided in the striking amendment).
