On page 27, after line 21 of the striking amendment, insert the following:

"NEW SECTION. Sec. 304. The Washington state institute for public policy shall conduct a study on the potential impacts that implementation of the act may have on the housing market. In conducting the study, the Washington state institute for public policy must consider the impacts of similar policies in other jurisdictions. By September 1, 2026, and in compliance with RCW 43.01.036, the Washington state institute for public policy shall submit a report to the legislature detailing its findings."

Renumber the remaining section consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.
