On page 5, after line 38, insert the following:
"(d) The sending hospital should coordinate with the ambulance service to confirm that the registered nurse is familiar with the equipment and medical supplies in the ambulance before the nurse participates in an interfacility specialty care transport under this subsection."
| EFFECT: Indicates that the sending hospital and ambulance service should coordinate to confirm that a nurse is familiar with the ambulance's equipment and supplies before participating in a transport.
