EFFECT:

Removes the Attorney General's Office (AGO) authority to accept concurrent authority as a source of criminal authority for an AGO investigator and grants an AGO investigator the general authority granted to general authority peace officers.

Removes an AGO's investigator's authority to prosecute crimes.

Removes an AGO's investigator's concurrent authority granted by a county prosecutor, police agency, or the governor.
