On page 1, line 7 of the striking amendment, after "10.93.020." insert "If the attorney general designates investigator positions, the attorney general must comply with the requirements in RCW 35.21.333, 35.21.334, 36.28.025, 43.101.095, and 43.101.115."

EFFECT: Requires the Attorney General to comply with the eligibility, certification, and background check requirements required for a Chief of Police or Marshal of a city or town, a County Sheriff, and a peace officer, when the Attorney General designates investigator positions as limited authority Washington peace officers.
