On page 3, after line 38, insert the following:
"(7) A city or county may deny any permit application for permanent supportive housing, transitional housing, indoor emergency housing, or indoor emergency shelters until the state provides additional funding for local law enforcement to address the increased crime in an area with a new facility."
On page 6, line 13, after "84.36.043" insert ".
(8) A city may deny any permit application for permanent supportive housing, transitional housing, indoor emergency housing, or indoor emergency shelters until the state provides additional funding for local law enforcement to address the increased crime in an area with a new facility"
On page 8, after line 31, insert the following:
"(8) A code city may deny any permit application for permanent supportive housing, transitional housing, indoor emergency housing, or indoor emergency shelters until the state provides additional funding for local law enforcement to address the increased crime in an area with a new facility."
| EFFECT: Allows permits for STEP housing to be denied until the state provides additional funding for local law enforcement to address the increased crime in an area with a new facility.
