On page 23, after line 25, insert the following:

"NEW SECTION. Sec. 10. A new section is added to chapter 43.330 RCW to read as follows:

A county or city with permanent supportive housing, transitional housing, indoor emergency shelters, or indoor emergency housing within its jurisdiction must submit crime statistics for the areas surrounding each facility to the department. The department must publish the crime statistics on its website."

EFFECT: Requires a county or city with STEP housing within its jurisdiction to submit crime statistics for the areas surrounding each facility to the Department of Commerce (Department). Directs the Department to publish the crime statistics on its website.
