| EFFECT: Clarifies that the restrictions on the requirements that may be imposed on transitional housing, permanent supportive housing, indoor emergency shelters, and indoor emergency housing (STEP housing) are limited to requirements imposed on other lodging or residential development in the zone, instead of lodging and residential development. Defines, for code cities and cities, "emergency housing," "emergency shelter," "permanent supportive housing, and "transitional housing" in the same manner as in the Growth Management Act. Removes the provisions in the act relating to STEP housing in existing buildings. Exempts existing STEP housing from all of the provisions of the act, instead of only provisions relating to the siting of STEP housing.
