On page 18, line 2 of the striking amendment, after "RCW 36.16.110." insert "A unanimous or supermajority vote of the county legislative authority is required for an appointment to fill a vacancy."

EFFECT: Requires a unanimous or supermajority vote of the county legislative authority for an appointment to fill a vacancy in an elected office of sheriff.
