On page 19, at the beginning of line 13 of the striking amendment, strike "certification ((or exemption therefrom))" and insert "certification or exemption therefrom"

EFFECT: Permits certain peace officers and corrections officers to obtain an exemption from the Criminal Justice Training Commission's certification requirements, rather than requiring all peace officers and corrections officers to obtain certification, as a condition of employment or holding office.
