AN ACT Relating to employer retirement contributions; and adding a new section to chapter 43.88 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 43.88 RCW to read as follows:

          Any appropriation act that provides for increases in state employee salaries shall also include an appropriation for the related cost of employer retirement contributions at the rate recommended by the department of retirement systems based on actuarial valuation.
