AN ACT Relating to tort liability of police agencies; and adding a new section to chapter 4.24 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 4.24 RCW to read as follows:

          The state and municipal corporations and law enforcement or police officers of the state or a municipal corporation shall not be liable for claims for damages for failure to enforce the law or to make an arrest or for failure to respond to requests for assistance.
