AN ACT Relating to health care assistants; adding a new section to chapter 18.135 RCW; and making an appropriation.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 18.135 RCW to read as follows:

          All persons applying for initial or continuing certification pursuant to the provisions of this chapter shall pay fees determined by the director as provided in RCW 43.24.086.

NEW SECTION. Sec. 2.     The sum of thirty-five thousand dollars, or as much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated for the biennium ending June 30, 1987, from the general fund to the department of licensing for licensing health care assistants.
