AN ACT Relating to state supervisory employees; and adding a new section to chapter 41.06 RCW.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:
NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. A new section is added to chapter 41.06 RCW to read as follows:
Any state employee in a supervisory position who wilfully neglects to carry out the duties of the job description to the fullest of his or her abilities, and to the best interest of the citizens of the state of Washington shall be subject to the following:
(1) For a first offense, a written reprimand will be given and placed in the employee's record file;
(2) For a second offense, the employee shall be suspended, without pay, for thirty days; and
(3) For a third offense, the employee shall be dismissed pursuant to the provisions of RCW 41.06.170.
