AN ACT Relating to right of way improvements; and amending RCW 35.72.010.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

        Sec. 1.  Section 1, chapter 126, Laws of 1983 and RCW 35.72.010 are each amended to read as follows:

          The legislative authority of any city, town, or county may contract with owners of real estate for the construction or improvement of street projects, either wholly or in cooperation with the city, town, or county, which the owners elect to install as a result of ordinances that require the projects as a prerequisite to further property development.
