AN ACT Regulating contributions from political committees; and adding a new section to chapter 42.17 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 42.17 RCW to read as follows:

          No candidate, campaign, or political committee may accept any contribution from any person unless that person has complied with RCW 42.17.080 and 42.17.090, regardless of whether that person's campaign or fundraising activities would otherwise be subject to this chapter.
