AN ACT Relating to Mt. Frances; and adding a new section to chapter 43.51 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 43.51 RCW to read as follows:

          The legislature hereby renames Mt. Peak located southeast of Enumclaw as Mt. Frances in honor of Frances North.  The state shall provide and install a proper marker in a suitable location on the mountain which will set forth the key role Frances North had in the preservation of the natural beauty of Mt. Peak for many years.  The legislature finds it appropriate to so honor Frances North for her long and dedicated service to the people of the state.
