BACKGROUND:

 

In 1985 the printing craft employees at the University of Washington Department of Printing were exempted by the Legislature from the Higher Education Personnel Law.  These exempt employees are not covered by any collective bargaining law.

 

SUMMARY:

 

The provisions of the Public Employees' Collective Bargaining Act are made applicable to the printing craft employees in the Department of Printing at the University of Washington.
