BACKGROUND:

Chapters 144 and 360, Laws of 1985, unnecessarily duplicate some references to uniform codes.  The two laws also refer to the State Building Code Council with different language.

SUMMARY:

The references to uniform codes that constitute the State Building Code are deleted from RCW 19.27A because they are already referenced in RCW 19.27.  In addition, all references to the "state building code advisory council" are changed to "state building code council" to reflect the council's current title.
