SUMMARY:

Until June 30, 1987, a local government elected official who reentered service and failed to restore withdrawn contributions may restore these contributions, with interest, only for the period served as a nonelected official.  Local officials who retired between April 4, 1986 and June 30, 1987, may also restore such withdrawn contributions.
