BACKGROUND:

 

Unemployment insurance applicants or claimants and employers wishing to appeal a decision made by the Employment Security Department or an administrative law judge have 10 days to file an appeal.

 

The time limit for filing appeals regarding industrial insurance is 60 days.

 

The time limit for filing appeals concerning public assistance is 90 days.

 

SUMMARY:

 

Applicants, claimants, and employers have 30 days to file an appeal for an administrative hearing or a review by the Commissioner.
