BACKGROUND:

 

A national data base containing information about the prevention of child abuse exists, but it does not provide information about local resources and information responses take excessive amounts of time.

 

SUMMARY:

 

The Washington Council for the Prevention of Child Abuse is to create a statewide data-base clearinghouse with prevention information related to current state and local programs, future programs and available resources.
