BACKGROUND:

 

It has been suggested that the interests of fairness require that lobbyists not provide personal services to governmental entities or officers during a legislative session.

 

SUMMARY:

 

Registered lobbyists or businesses owned by them shall not enter into personal service contracts with any member or employee of the Legislature, the executive branch, or any state agency during a legislative session.
