AN ACT Relating to zoning authority; adding a new section to chapter 35.63 RCW; adding a new section to chapter 35A.63 RCW; and adding a new section to chapter 36.70 RCW.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

 

          NEW SECTION.  Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 35.63 RCW to read as follows:

          The zoning regulations which are the controlling authority in the development of a parcel of property shall be the regulations adopted by the jurisdiction where the property is located, whether within the boundaries of a city, town, or county.  This determination applies even though the parcel in question is surrounded by the boundaries of another jurisdiction.

 

          NEW SECTION.  Sec. 2.  A new section is added to chapter 35A.63 RCW to read as follows:
